WAITING.....

Moonlight bathing the sea in silver

Soft cool breezes caressing my skin
Wave upon wave making music
But it brings no joy to my heart

Blue sky with fluffy white clouds
Sun shining sending cheerful rays
Birds chirping with happy sounds
yet my eyes see no beauty

Couples walking hand in hand
familes gathered for heartfelt joy
all around there is happiness
yet my smile dies upon my lips

I sit and wonder what to do
what do I want to make my heart leap
for my eyes to see this worlds' beauty
for my smile to touch my heart.......
